VNA measurements
SMA version
RP-SMA version |
Aomway cloverleaf, SMA and RP-SMA version. Both have very decent matching. The difference is most likely caused by the adapter and not by the antenna itself. |
RP-SMA version
Same with hot glue + heat shrink |
Regular cloverleaf vs. the same model covered in plastic (hot glue + heat shrink) to increase physical strength. It's clear that this modification hurts the performance of the antenna significantly. |
Anechoic chamber measurements
SMA version |
The solid line is the correct polarization, the dashed line is the opposite polarization. Good radiation pattern, but axial ratio could be better. |
